Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics

The Olympics started not too long ago, and personally, I don’t think that USA is doing that well so far. Currently, we are tied with Russia with seven medals, two gold, one silver, and four bronze. The country with the most medals is Norway, with 12. Following behind them are the Netherlands and Canada with 10. Although Germany only has 6 medals, they are in the lead with 5 gold. Even though I like the summer Olympics better, I still enjoy watching the winter games. Alpine skiing, luge, figure skating, hockey, curling, snowboarding, moguls, and that’s only a couple of them. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to watch a lot of the Olympics so far, with so many tests to study for and projects to do, but I think with February vacation I will have more time to watch them and I look forward to it. Recently, I believe Shaun White did not even place in snowboarding and is now going home. That’s pretty much it for the Olympics, and lets hope USA can give us a couple more gold medals.
